Clean Slate: Deleting a Digital Menu

What you’ll need

• Active Digital Menu subscription
• Permission: Manage online menu
• Access to the TaoRocket Console
• A menu that you want to delete

1. Locate the Menu to Delete

• Navigate to the Digital Menu section in the TaoRocket console.
• Find the menu you wish to delete in the list of digital menus.

2. Initiate the Deletion Process

• Go to the Menu Settings tab.
• Click the DELETE MENU button.
• A warning dialog will appear explaining that deleting the menu is permanent and cannot be undone.

3. Confirm Deletion

• Read the warning carefully.
• Confirm deletion by clicking CONFIRM or cancel if you want to keep the menu.

4. What Happens After Deletion

• The menu will be permanently removed from TaoRocket.
• Any URLs, QR codes, and published versions associated with the menu will stop working.
• Deleted menus cannot be restored.

Tips for Success

• Only delete menus you are sure are no longer needed.
• Consider unpublishing a menu instead if you want to temporarily hide it.
• Backup any important menu data before deletion.
